The NCSPA will be celebrating agriculture this Sunday June 2 at the Durham Bulls’ State Fair Night. The Association is sponsoring the game to help consumers understand more about what farmers do every day, educate fans about its importance in North Carolina and talk to them about soybeans.
The NCSPA will have a booth where fans can play a trivia game about agriculture and soy. Staff will be on hand to answer their questions about agriculture. Jeff Tyson, president of the board of directors, will do a live interview on the Durham Bulls radio broadcast of the game to talk about the importance of keeping agriculture strong in N.C., and Owen Wagner, the association’s new CEO, will participate in a presentation on the field to promote the importance of agriculture. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to learn about soy through a trivia contest in the game and in several more games throughout the season. Come on out to State Fair Night at the Durham Bulls on June 2 to support the NCSPA and agriculture!
