The NCSPA was on hand at Alamance County Farm Bureau’s Homegrown in the Park on Apr. 27. The event, held in Burlington City Park, celebrated the county’s agricultural heritage and the future of ag industry there. Many commodity associations had exhibits at the event, including the NCSPA. Board member, Michael McPherson, and his wife Renee, worked with outreach coordinator, Laura Rogers, and introduced hundreds of festival-goers to soy. There were also representatives at the event involved in forestry and beekeeping, farm equipment for children to play on and live music.
It was a beautiful day to celebrate agriculture in Alamance Co. at this popular event full of fun and learning.
