The NCSPA will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016 and all N.C. soybean growers are invited to attend a reception marking the occasion.
The reception will be held at the N.C. Commodities Conference on Wed., Jan. 13, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the exhibition area of the conference at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, 4700 Emperor Blvd., in Durham, N.C. Past presidents and meritorious service award winners will be recognized.
N.C. soy growers were among the first in the U.S. to seek statewide grower approval for a marketing and promotional assessment on their crop. The association was incorporated in 1966 and there was a referendum for the state assessment in 1969. Make plans to join the NCSPA as we recognize the foresight of those who established the association and celebrate 50 years of service to N.C. soybean farmers!
