Jared Hagert, a soybean farmer from Emerado, North Dakota, was elected by his fellow farmers to serve as chair of the United Soybean Board at their Dec. board meeting. He will oversee implementation of the board’s long-range strategic plan and will focus on maximizing profit opportunities for soybean farmers.
In addition, Jacob Parker, a farmer from Tyrrell Co., N.C., and one of the state’s directors on the United Soybean Board, will serve on USB’s Strategic Management Committee.
