With the celebration of Earth Day this week, the United Soybean Board recognized four farmers for outstanding water stewardship. North Carolina’s own Jimmy Thomas, a farmer from Person County and past president of the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association, was recognized as part of this prestigious group. He was interviewed by the Southern Farm Network about his water conservation practices, as well as soil management and other best practices he implements on his farm to be sustainable and preserve our natural resources.
