The NCSPA sponsored Ag Day at the N.C. State vs. Marshall football game on Sept. 9 and participated in the CALS Tailgate. It was a great day to talk to folks about soybeans and farming at the association’s booth in both the Fan Zone at the game and at the Tailgate event.
In the Fan Zone, eager fans played a spinning wheel game to answer questions about soybeans and agriculture to win a cool koozie for Solo-style or stadium cups. Fans loved playing the game and winning the koozies which had the N.C. State and NCSPA’s new logo on them, and the booth was a popular spot to visit all afternoon. Special thanks to the board member volunteers who were on-hand to educate visitors through the game and answer any other questions they had about food and farming.
Inside the PNC Arena, fans attending the CALS Tailgate could also play the spinning wheel game to win a koozie, and had just as much fun learning about the association and its work. Of course, we enjoyed meeting all the soybean farmers and members who stopped by.
Fans inside the game saw a brief video about the NCSPA and the research it funds at N.C. State to help soybean farmers improve yields and profitability. It was a great day all around, and the association was excited as always to share information about agriculture with Wolfpack fans. Check out our Facebook page to see all of the pictures from the day!
