Make plans now to attend the NC Commodities Conference Jan. 9-11, 2019 at the Sheraton Imperial in Durham, N.C. It’s the annual gathering of the NCSPA, the NC Small Grain Growers Association, Corn Growers Association of NC and the NC Cotton Producers Association. This year Commissioner Troxler will provide an update on agriculture in the state, there will be a production management panel on cover crops and soil health and the featured speakers will be Ray Starling, Chief of Staff to United States Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, Bobby Skeen of the Louisiana Cotton & Grain Association, Edgar Woods of Palmetto Grain Brokerage and Dr. David Kohl of Virginia Tech who will help farmers learn to “Take Care of Business.” Plus, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and learning from fellow farmers.
