NC. State’s annual Farm Animal Days were Apr. 24-26, and the NCSPA had a booth at the event to talk to the thousands of children who attended about soy and agriculture. The event gives school children from pre-school through first grade the chance to see and touch farm animals, get in tractors, learn about agriculture and interact with commodity groups to learn about their products. The event is a highlight for the more than 10,000 visitors every year and the groups that participate. It is a great way to give so many young children a glimpse into the world of agriculture and the important job of farmers.
