Make plans now to join Agriculture Commissioner Troxler, the N.C. Farm Bureau, commodity groups and more to bring awareness to the legislature about the importance of agriculture in North Carolina at Ag Awareness Day.
The schedule for the day is:
9:00 a.m.: Shuttle buses run from the Exposition building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds to the legislative building
9:00 a.m.:10:45 a.m.: Legislative office visits (schedule visits in advance, if possible. Go to Who Represents Me to find contact information.)
11:00 a.m.: Rally on Bicentennial Mall between Capitol and Legislative Buildings
11: a.m.- 2:00 p.m.: Legislative office visits
12:00 p.m.: Grab-n-go lunch provided on Bicentennial Mall
2:00 p.m.: Legislative session
3:00 p.m.: Last shuttle to Fairgrounds
