USB’s Take Action program is hosting PEST Week (or Pest Elimination Strategy & Tactics Week) from June 15-July 1. The week is focused on best management strategies and raising awareness of the looming threat of pesticide resistance. Activities for PEST Week include:
- Pest Madness– Vote in daily pest match-ups on Facebook and Twitter to determine which weed, disease or insect will be named the Peskiest Pest.
- Pest Trivia– Test your knowledge on weed, disease and insect-management facts and myths as Take Action corrects misconceptions related to pest and pesticide-resistance management. Play along on Facebook and Twitter .
